You can unshape/unelder maps with Unshaping Orb (20 chisels + 5 regrets). Connected maps can always drop, except if their tier is too high (blocking drops by shaping). There are a few things to consider: If the map is shaped (for example t9 Shaped Arcade) removing all of your natural t9s and t10s is enough.

honestly ill probably use it on the biggest map possible that isnt absolute dogshit to run. its going to be impossible to sustain so the main appeal to me is being a semi-reliable source of i85 shaper/elder gear. that or toxic sewers that map is wild even at its current tier.
