3/8/2018 · QT and removing the fish may cause a bit more stress short-term but I would suggest doing it. What else is in the tank? Any more aggressive fish? … The most I was able to keep a fairy wrasse was for 2 years or so and that was a flame. All others, specially Labouti never worked past 6 months for me.

Fairy and Flasher wrasse are both planktivores whilst my Halichoeres and Magropharyngodon wrasse all feed from the rocks or sand bed. They are also similar in their sleeping habits. The planktivores need caves or nooks and crannies to sleep in whilst my other wrasse are ‘sand sleepers’
